This tribal-owned resort hotel and casino were designed as an attraction to the public at large while providing the tribal council with means to support scholarship programs, recreational centers, community parks, and employment for tribal citizens. The resort hotel and casino is a very successful enterprise and has become a favorite vacation destination for many on the west coast.
The casino resort claims to be the largest in the western United States outside of Las Vegas, employs over 4,0000 people, serves more than four billion buffet meals to over 750,000 guests per year, using over 50,000 pounds of beef per week. They operate seven days per week, and 365 days per year serving food around the clock. Reliability and customer service were key to their decision.
Their goal was to provide guests with a fantastic dining experience while making sure that their employees in the kitchen were safe while handling hot oil. They were using manual filtration systems that required that kitchen personnel to wait until the oil cooled before changing the filter. When they had a particularly busy night, their employees would try changing out the filter system, thereby risking hot oil splashes and risk to their personal safety. For safety sake, they did not want their employees manually filtering or lifting heavy containers for oil disposal.
After reviewing several options, the tribal council chose the HF 130 oil filtration system, giving them the ability to filter their oil more quickly, efficiently, and safely. Now they are able to filter oil daily without having to manually handle hot oil during filtration and disposal. This system also saves them time since the filtration takes minutes versus almost half an hour with a manual method. They are also able to double the life of the oil and cut their costs in half.
The T-handle was custom designed to attach to a mobile cart for ease of movement so their personnel can transport the container, drain the oil, filter the oil safely and efficiently.
