Large Family Theme Park & Resort

Challenge: 

This global family theme park and resort has a recognizable brand that represents a true dedication to giving guests an extraordinary experience and “making dreams come true.”

On their expansive theme park property, they have hotels, fast food restaurants, and mobile food carts. The governing industrial health and safety bureau for the state of California was concerned about an increase in industrial accidents amongst seasonal help and college students.

With mobile food carts in locations distant from waste disposal areas, personnel had to carry waste a quarter of a mile several times per day. Furthermore, they wanted to mitigate the risk and hazard of transporting oil and spilling oil in areas where the general public and children were enjoying the park. Spilled oil is hazardous for people, vehicles, and the environment.

While they wanted to keep the convenience of food vendors at every intersection for guests, they had big concerns about operating safely.
